Measured Building Survey for new health and longevity centre

As part of an exciting new project for HealthSpan+ Ltd we swiftly executed a measured building survey and captured floor plans and external elevations of a furniture store located in Chiswick. This enabled the design team to start designing the interior and signage of the company’s inaugural health and longevity centre.

Land & utility surveys for new road layout and design

We worked with AECOM at Burgess Hill in West Sussex on a multi-million pound residential master estate delivering land and utility surveys on a 2km stretch of highway including a proposed new footpath. The data was needed to understand where local constraints existed and utilities lay as well as to identify and topographical or ecological issues.

Drone survey to support structural assessment of the Carmyle Viaduct

To support the structural assessment of the Carmyle Viaduct, Survey Solutions recommended drone surveys to deliver high resolution video footage and imagery as well as 3D point clouds and digital twin models to aid Amey in their full inspection of the structure. The site data was vital to help form decisions on the future of the viaduct.

Hydrographic surveys on the Rivers Tame & Trent

We have delivered hydrographic surveys of eight weir locations on the Rivers Tame & Trent as part of the Water Resources National Framework helping secure England’s long-term water needs. We delivered our client, AECOM, 3D terrain models and CAD drawings as the project progressed to help construct their hydraulic models to help meet tight deadlines. On-site, our team adapted our survey methods to meet the changing site conditions and requirements.

Lake Windermere slipway project smart structural monitoring

March 28, 2024

A remote monitoring solution was required to provide our client with instant alerts when demolition and construction vibrations started to affect a fragile boathouse close to Lake Windermere. Our client required monitoring data as part of the removal and reconstruction of a wet dock slipway. Heavy duty drilling and piling work meant a monitoring solution was a key requirement for the project with our team providing invaluable support throughout the ten week scheme.
